Rama Lama das Pönkabteilüng
Rama Lama das Pönkabteilüng is a punkband from Nord-Trøndelag. They are known for obscene lyrics and depictions of Trøndelag festivities. The band consists of: UFFAkiller – vocalist, Lieberposhteig – guitar, Iskariot – bass, Paulzen – drums. They performed at Storåsfestivalen the first year it was held, in 2004.
Dagsavisen gave the album Langpils a rating of 4 (out of 6) and described it as "a bit childishly bad, but irresistible for anyone who has ever enjoyed this kind of rabid music." This was especially highlighted in the song "Namsos skoilla vorri bomba ætti Prudence."[1] Bergens Tidende described the album as "a milestone in Norwegian rock of the 21st century, with lyrics that are appropriate in all contexts except Norwegian language teaching."[2] The music magazine Puls wrote in its review, "another band from Trøndelag doing their thing, completely unaffected by current trends. Delightful and unpretentious. [...] maybe not musical geniuses, but they understand what rock is about."[3]
